TIMELINE TAKES A STANCE ON THE BLANK DECK MARKET

Sometimes we all need a kick in the butt or a slap in the face when we are consciously being competent or unconsciously incompetent. The sale of blank boards by shops is wrong, it does nothing for the industry, history or progression of this sacred art form we call skateboarding. The shops say the consumer wants them, the consumer also wants demos and free product. "I know lets have a blank demo" sounds stupid to me .....Pretty soon you will be able to get blank decks at Home Depot, imagine what their cost will be, they can buy in huge bulk. I know all about margins and keeping the lights on, what about your sole, your lifestyle and whatever there is left in the meaning of "Core". Thanks for listening....
