What a year, there seems to be at least two events every weekend to participate in. While the Grind For Life was on, skateboard of Tampa held there annual Harvest Jam. There are still more contetsts this year.

Grind For Life Benefit

Today was a great day for Grind For Life and Mike Rodgers. So many people love him and he is an inspiration to all people. The weather was great, Cocoa Beach Skatepark was packed. The community came together to help raise money. Tim Johnson Benji Gallaway putting on a concrete show. Special guests stopping by were Mark Lake, Bruce Walker Lonnie Rider, Kelly Lynn, Bob Unbel and 8-Time Surfing World Champion/Living Legend Kelly Slater came by to watch the demo. No one left hungry and everyone had a good time. Next year we will make sure the band has a permit. Special thanks goes out to Dan Hatcher for his support and service to the community and the Cocoa Beach / Graffiti Skate Teams for their help setting up and breaking down, the parents for bringing their kids, all the volunteers and the sponsors. Congradulations to the Timeline Riders......

Splinter hosted Comp By DaCure II toady. 11 yo Alex Pellegrino took on the 13-17 Division and nailed down 1st place. Alex making noise in the Tampa Bay area. He is a great kid and has the support of his family.

**Factory Nationals Skateboard Contest**

Friday: Grom
Saturday: Street, mini ramp, and vert

Adam placing 1st, Chris 2nd, Dylan 3rd Jamie 4th and Dalton 5th in Vert. Dalton Dern placing 3rd in Open Mini-Ramp and Jamie Alexander and Andrew Morel in Sponsored Street representing. Alex and Marshal Lafrance battling it out again in the 12 to 15 Mini-Ramp with Alex taking 1st. The best trick in vert making history with Adam bring down the house and stomping a 720. Thank you to Factory Skatepark and all the parents for driving up to the event.

Kona Contest

Alex Pelligrino skated at Kona last week in the 10-12 division while nursing a bad ankle and placing 4th.

Timeline at the LG Dallas TX

Adam Taylor placed 2nd at the Dallas LG World Vert Championship. Dylan 4th, Chris 5th and Flow Rider Dalton Dern 8th place.

Timeline at Damn AM

Cesar Fernandez , Steve Otero, Sean Jefferies and Dane Kovarik went to Costa Mesa. They had very respectable finishes (check out DamnAM.com for all the results). This is an invite only contest with the best AM's in the world.
