TAMPA AM 2007 RECAP

Tampa AM 2007 was bigger that ever, 240 of the best AM street skaters and 30 of the best up and coming vert riders in the world . Technical combination tricks is how it went down in the street. If you get in this contest it is an honor, almost every skater there is the real deal. Timeline has the best AM Vert Team in the world, Adam came in with a huge bag of tricks and was ripping everyday in practice, he just could not get a full run down in the finals, placing 7th. Staying on your board is a must in street and vert if you want to do well. Chris Oreilly 8th had the same problem while Paul-Luc staying on his board with style placing 6th, it was just not good enough for the top three. Dylan Taylor with a flawless first run, just missing the final.
Sean Jeffries was just 4 points away from making the top 15 for the day, just one little step off can keep you out. See http://skateparkoftampa.com for all the results and stories. Big thanks goes out to Steaz, providing the Soda and Energy Drink to the riders.

January Shop of the Month

Cocoa Beach is a public skatepark, the Home of Timeline Skateboards and the Grind For Life. Built by Team Pain and dedicated to all the skaters and parents who worked for almost seven years going to public meetings and finally convincing all five City commissioners to approve the funds. Never giving up or going away is what it took and a positive vibe from the community. This is a staffed park , has lights, a Pro-Shop,Snack Bar and Bathrooms on site. Voted the Best Flow Park in the State, locals are friendly and all skaters are invited to experience the small beach town vibe. Managed by Dan Hatcher from Low Gravity Incorporated, supporting skateboarding in Brevard County Florida since 2000.
