Jordan Price in CA

Jordan Price has been in California for the past 2 months charging every park he could get his hands on. Skating with Timeline Pro-Adam Taylor, Buster Halterman and Pete Kelly, hitting nearly every skate park from LA to San Diego, with a stop or two at Bob Burnquists house, a quick invite to Woodward West and the private back yard “Bible Bowl”, and has become a regular at San Pedro skatepark.Skating with his home state friend and ripper. Timmy Knuth. Together they’ve been skating everything. Jordan has been keeping all his skills sharp on vert, street and pools. The Dew Tour came through California this month and Jordan wasn’t missing it. He entered in Encinitas and VANS at The Block. Timeline Skateboards was well represented. Although his summer in California is coming to a quick halt he has no intentions of stopping there. He already has a busy schedule for the next 4 months including trips to Denver, Phoenix, back to San Diego, Florida for a contest or two and then he’s off to Cincinnati following the ASA schedule. keeping his tranny skills up to par on his Team Pain Vert Ramp. Jordan is coming up with the support of his parents and Sponsors(Timeline,Fox,Globe,Nixon,Stone Edge)

Lasek, White Top Skate Vert Prelims in ClevelandPublished: 5:20 a.m. PT by Greg Bucky Lasek showed that he is fast returning to form after skating in Baltimore with an injured knee (and still placing fourth) by finishing first in the Skate Vert Prelims in Cleveland's Right Guard Open -- his 91.50 was miles ahead of second-place finisher Shaun White's 83.75, but White won't need to worry -- busted tricks in his second run hurt him, and he's still going to be tough in the finals. Danny Mayer was a surprise #3... Missing the finals again was Sandro Dias, who has really fallen off the radar following his season finish of No. 2 last year. Here are the full result for the Skate Vert prelims -- top 10 advance to the finals.

Kona 30th Celebration

The Kona 30th B-day party was a two day event with a VIP party on Friday night. Adam Taylor & Pete Kelly were ripping up the Bowl and Vert Ramp with Adam blasting big airs over the Hooters Girls. Kona should be a protected landmark, there is so much history, the park reflects the past and represents the future of skateboarding never forgetting the roots. Martin Ramos and family putting on great party!
On Saturday the day started out with the Slalom Race down the Snake Run with East Coast Legend Kelly Lynn taking the win. The best trick went down on the legendary Tomb Stone, that obstacle has been there for 30 years out lasting all the phases of skateboarding from the down days to the early glory years. Benji Gallaway placing 1st on the Tombstone Best Trick. The crowds were huge and would not be turned away after two major thunder Storms. The crowd was there to celebrate, that is what skateboarding is all about, the people who buy the products and support the industry, this was there day as well. Tony Hawk showed up in time to watch the best trick, the kids were so stoked to see Tony, the crowd never left, they were there to see it all rain or shine.

More stuff to Skate in Copenhagen....

Roskilde Music Festival Demo & Skatepark

The weather cleared, get the call from Rune and Schaffer load up and head to the Roskilde Music festival. Over 80,000 people attend, most camp out, we had no idea what we were in for. A spontaneous adventure is what travel is all about. We met up with the Zack miller and his family at the main train station in Copenhagen. Caught the next train in Roskilde to the Demo, This train was packed with young people with all there gear and supplies, every seat, isle, floor and space in between the cars were full for this 10 minute ride. Everyone helping each other, very polite and thoughtful young people, it was amazing....All you could see at the festival stop were rows of tents and thick mud from all the rain. William from the skate park met us there and led us through the crowd on dry land. William and his staff were so gracious, thank you!
